This multimedia campaign called "Chicken Love" drove email list growth for DealChicken.com, a daily deal site. This promotion leveraged the fun nature of the DealChicken brand during February – the month of love. In the extremely competitive daily deal industry, a brand needs to stand out and separate itself from less credible, smaller players. This promotion offered new users a first-time buyer credit. Unlike standard promotional credits, the user could bank the credits in their site account. That encouraged complete registration on the site and increased purchase conversion.
